FIFO ex-Brisbane | 8/6 Roster (Wednesday–Wednesday)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor with a strong Food Safety and Quality Assurance background to support our village operations across remote sites predominantly in the Bowen Basin. This FIFO role out of Brisbane (8 days on / 6 days off – Wednesday to Wednesday) will partner closely with operational leaders to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality food and accommodation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HSQE and food safety advice, coaching, and support to site teams
• Maintain and improve Integrated Management Systems (IMS) aligned to ISO standards
• Lead food safety inspections, audits, and compliance activities
• Drive quality assurance outcomes across food & beverage operations
• Conduct incident investigations and manage corrective actions
• Deliver HSQE and food safety training and onboarding
• Monitor and report on HSQE performance and compliance metrics
• Support operational teams to meet client and customer standards

Qualifications and experience:

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety 
• Experience in HSQE Advisor or similar role
• Strong food safety, hygiene, and QA experience
• Understanding of ISO 9001, 45001, 14001 and HACCP principles

• Ability to engage frontline operational teams

   

   

  Highly Desirable:

• Formal food safety qualification (HACCP or equivalent)
• FIFO / remote / camps experience
• ICAM or investigation training
• ISO or food safety audit experience
