Rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to a brighter financial future, the TruStage Director of Credit Union System Relations plays a central role in the credit union ecosystem—advancing TruStage’s position as a trusted, influential system partner to leagues, associations, and national leaders. This role is responsible for stewarding some of the company’s most critical external relationships and serves as the senior executive counterpart to national and state league CEOs, and associations.
This leader brings strong business judgment, executive presence, and a measurement‑forward mindset—translating mission into strategy, negotiating high‑impact partnerships, and ensuring investments deliver clear, demonstrable value for credit unions, the movement, and TruStage. With rigor in performance management and a data‑driven view of the marketplace, the role navigates regulatory, reputational, and competitive dynamics to strengthen the TruStage brand, advance system priorities through collaboration, and drive long‑term, sustainable impact across the credit union system.
Job Purpose:
This position leads the Credit Union System relations team and serves as the senior relationship manager for credit union leagues, associations and the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) to preserve and advance the company’s reputation as a leading credit union partner within the overall system.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Credit Union System Relations team to foster strong, strategic partnerships between TruStage and credit union leagues, associations, and system partners. Champion a culture of accountability and growth by setting clear goals, providing ongoing coaching and mentorship, and empowering team members to achieve high performance. Ensure alignment with organizational priorities while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team environmentPursue and negotiate partnership agreements and strategies for key national credit union associations including America’s Credit Unions, CUES, CSS, AACUC, Inclusiv, DCUC, NLCUP, NASCUS and NACUSO.

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.
Base Salary Range:
$128,500.00 - $239,000.00
