About the Role

With a strong pipeline of newly awarded projects across Queensland, BMD is seeking Site Engineers who are open to FIFO and DIDO‑based work across regional and remote locations. Reporting to the Project Engineer and Project Manager, you will support the successful delivery of civil infrastructure works by providing onsite engineering and technical assistance. You will play a hands‑on role in coordinating day‑to‑day construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with project schedules.   This role offers excellent exposure to major infrastructure projects and the opportunity to develop your engineering capability within a supportive, values‑led organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite engineering support to construction teams
• Assist with day‑to‑day coordination of subcontractors and site activities
• Set out works and verify construction against design and specifications
• Support quality assurance, inspections and documentation processes
• Assist with short‑term planning, progress tracking and reporting
• Promote strong safety, environmental and quality outcomes on site
• Work closely with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors and subcontractors

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum two years working onsite on civil infrastructure projects 
• Exposure to earthworks, structures, roads or related scopes preferred
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
• Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO rosters across Queensland
