The Co-op Student, Neighbourhoods Development, supports subdivision and site plan projects through CAD drafting and design documentation, while gaining hands-on experience and exposure to real estate development and sales processes.

About the Role
- Create and/or update subdivision layouts, site plans, and concept drawings for future developments (Site plans, Subdivision layouts).
- Produce and update drawings using AutoCAD and support the coordination of drawings with internal teams and external consultants.
- Complete checking and updating of drawings to ensure they comply with municipal design standards, zoning requirements, technical constraints and natural features.
- Work with internal leadership, Project Managers and Real Estate team members to ensure drawings align with customer requirements.
- Organize and maintain drawing files and other documentation.
- Assist with basic data analysis and research to support real estate and development decisions.
Experience
- Currently enrolled in a co-op program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Engineering Technology (Civil), Geomatics / GIS or related field, or Urban Planning.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD required. Exposure to Civil 3D, GIS (ArcGIS), or SketchUp would be a bonus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Basic understanding of site grading and servicing, planning approvals process, and land development fundamentals would be a bonus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), basic use of AI tools for office efficiency.
- Effective communication and willingness to learn in a team environment.
- Interest or knowledge in our communities, real estate, land development or development economics would be a bonus.
