About the Opportunity   

As our Head Spa Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences both in the treatment room and on reception while supporting the day-to-day operations of the RACV Day Spa. You will combine hands-on treatment delivery with team support, training and service leadership to ensure consistently high standards and strong commercial outcomes. 

 

 Key responsibilities will include:   

 

• Deliver a full range of professional spa treatments including facials, massage, body treatments and rituals

• Provide outstanding service to members and guests, anticipating needs and resolving issues  

• Support and train Spa Therapists, developing technical and retail capabilities  

• Drive repeat business through exceptional customer experience and product recommendations  

• Contribute to achieving individual targets and team KPIs  
• Coordinate guest appointments strategically to maximise departmental yield and optimise booking efficiency

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and spa operations  

• Support day-to-day operations including stock control, service delivery and operational efficiency 

 

What you’ll need to be successful   

 

• Qualified in Beauty Therapy or Massage Therapy (or equivalent)  

• Experienced in a senior Spa Therapist or similar role within a hotel or day spa environment  

• Strong technical capability across a broad range of spa treatments

• Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and mentor others  

• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail  

• Positive, team-oriented and able to lead by example
