About the Team:
The Model Risk Management (MRM) function governs the policies, processes, and oversight mechanisms that ensure models are developed, implemented, and monitored in a controlled and compliant manner. To strengthen the digital foundation of this framework, a dedicated Business Systems & Automation team is being established to design, build, and maintain systems, workflow tools, and automation capabilities that support end-to-end model lifecycle activities.
This team will serve as the digital backbone of the MRM organization, ensuring that model lifecycle activities are supported by scalable systems, consistent data flows, robust documentation, and integrated governance controls. The team will work closely with Technology, Data, and broader MRM teams to design, build, and maintain solutions that enhance efficiency, transparency, and risk oversight. Its mandate is not only to support existing processes but also to shape the future of MRM by embedding digital thinking, automation, and analytics into the operating model.
While the team’s initial mandate focuses on enabling MRM, its long-term vision is broader. Over time, the function is expected to support the wider Risk organization and partner with first-line Model Development teams to uplift tooling, documentation platforms, workflow orchestration, and automation frameworks. This team will serve as a central enabler for modernizing how models are built, governed, tested, documented, and monitored across the enterprise.
Impact
- This role is responsible for designing, developing and delivering scalable automation solutions that support the Business Systems & Automation capability within the Model Risk Management (MRM) organization. The Senior Automation Developer will translate functional requirements into production-ready automation solutions, ensuring reliability, efficiency and adherence to enterprise technology standards.
- The role plays a critical part in building high-quality automation frameworks and reusable components, integrating systems through APIs, and leveraging technologies such as Python and enterprise RPA platforms to enable efficient and scalable model lifecycle processes.
- This role will also act as a technical mentor to junior developers, guiding development practices, performing code reviews, and promoting best practices in automation development, testing, and deployment
Key Deliverables
- Design and develop scalable automation solutions to expand the automation footprint within MRM team.
- Build, deploy and maintain enterprise-grade automation workflows and bots, ensuring reliability, performance and maintainability.
- Lead the end-to-end automation lifecycle, including solution design, development, testing, deployment and post-production support.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and automation architectures.
- Develop integrations with APIs, enterprise systems, databases and cloud services to enable seamless automation across platforms.
- Develop automation utilities and supporting components using Python, including data processing and integration scripts.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development standards and ensure automation solutions follow best practices and enterprise security guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues related to workflows, integrations and infrastructure.
- Deliver POCs to evaluate feasibility and recommend optimal automation solutions for complex business problems.

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)
Skills:
- Hands-on experience in solutioning end-to-end lifecycle automation solutions with Automation Anywhere (A360) or UiPath.
- Working experience in Power Automate, Alteryx, Power BI/Tableau
- Working experience in Python/ React/ Angular JS or other languages a plus
- Requirements Gathering, BRDs, SDDs, As-Is & To-Be Flow, Technical Presentation, Incident/Problem/Change Management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong communication skills for discussing technical questions and project progress with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, including task structuring, workload estimation and meeting deadlines.
Education:
- BE / BTech / MTech - Computer Science or related engineering stream or commensurate work experience
- Certifications in automation (e.g., RPA tools), cloud platforms, data analytics are desirable.
Experience:
- Overall IT experience of 8+ years.
- Hands on experience of minimum 4 years in Automation anywhere platform (A360)/UiPath and Microsoft Power platform in designing, building, and maintaining bots along with Infrastructure design and maintenance.
- Should have built bots for a minimum of 8 to 10 complex processes and managed end to end lifecycle.
- Strong programming background in Python/ React/ Angular JS or other languages a plus
- Hands-on in VB Macro, Excel formulas, JavaScript, SQL, Json & xml
- Experience in building automation and integrating with SharePoint, OneDrive, Network folders for file movements, Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, APIs and microservices
- Exposure in integrating Power Apps, BI & Power Automate
