About the role
Are you a highly organised, proactive professional looking for your next career move to broaden your scope and accountability? We are seeking two experienced Programme Officers to join our Continuing Legal Education (CLE) team in Wellington. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administrative or coordination experience who is ready to take the next step – moving beyond task-based administration, into a role with greater responsibility, autonomy and exposure to large-scale programmes, events and stakeholders.
Reporting to the Senior Event Delivery Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring our learning programmes and workshops are of a consistent high-quality for lawyers across Aotearoa. You will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of key CLE programmes and workshops, whilst taking ownership of higher-level administrative and logistical activities that are critical to the successful programme delivery.
Some travel and out-of-hours work is required, particularly around live event delivery.

The New Zealand Law Society Te Kāhui Ture o Aotearoa is the professional body for barristers and solicitors in New Zealand. The Law Society regulates all lawyers practising in New Zealand and is the membership organisation for practising lawyers. With 13 branches throughout the country, the Law Society is the Kaitiaki (guardian) of the practice of law in Aotearoa New Zealand and the consumers of legal services.
