The Payroll Central Latin American Payroll Manager leads the delivery of multi-country payroll operations across Latin America, supporting NOV’s employee base in countries including Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Peru, and Trinidad & Tobago, with scope to expand.
This role manages a team of Payroll Administrators and partners closely with ADP and other payroll vendors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing aligned with local regulations.
The position is responsible for overseeing payroll data integrity, ensuring effective integration between HR, Timekeeping, and Payroll systems, and driving service quality and process efficiency in collaboration with HR, Finance, and external partners.
Reporting to the Director – Global Payroll, this role supports the regional payroll strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ongoing ownership and day to day management of the Payroll Central LATAM Team as they provide payroll services to multiple countries in Latin America through the ADP Payroll model.
• To work in partnership with ADP as our Payroll Systems Provider with the ongoing payroll delivery and payroll changes required.
• Ensuring the Team meets all required deadlines monthly/annually for the respective payroll calendars.
• Responsible for data integrity of the payroll master data and that measures are in place for ongoing data quality for consistent and accurate payrolls.
• To act as the company’s lead on payroll legislation and process queries, working with Payroll Partners as appropriate.
• Accountable for the sign off for the country payroll and change requests which impact payroll processing setup and processes.
• Provide appropriate liaison with the government authorities on the provision of required reporting, annual submissions, or general ongoing interactions.
• Ensure the appropriate interactions and working relationships with key business stakeholders such as HR, Finance and ADP.
• Providing all necessary payroll output for internal financial reporting and accounting, government reporting and third-party requirements.
• Responsible for the appropriate management and protection of the business’s payroll and employee related data as involved in the total end to end payroll process, with awareness of data protection laws such as Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (FLPPDHPP) and General Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Mandated Parties.
• Interfacing with the business third party payroll vendors as appropriate.
• To actively participate in new payroll country implementations and adoptions as the scope of new countries being driven through the Payroll Central LATAM Team increases in scope.
• Some International Travel would be potentially necessary in support of projects and new country adoptions where required.

• Higher education within relevant subject. (Essential)

Technical, Training or Specialist Knowledge:
• Minimum 3 Years managing a Payroll Team in an Enterprise Corporate Environment, multi country or high headcount. (Essential)
• Excellent command of English – both written and spoken. (Essential)
• Good underlying experience of Payroll Operations and the Payroll Life Cycle. (Essential)
• Experience in Payroll Accounting / Payroll Reporting. (Essential)
• Advanced MS Excel and general data manipulation skills. (Essential)
• Demonstrable experience in working with various enterprise Payroll / Time Keeping Technology. (Essential)
• Knowledge and understanding of ADP Payroll (ADP Global View/Streamline/Celergo). (Desirable)
• Experience working within a Payroll Outsource Operating Model. (Desirable)
