Senior Manager, Supply Chain
Role Context: Lead all procurement, contracting, logistics, and supply chain functions for the DBH EPCM project. The Senior Supply Chain Manager ensures timely, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of all goods, materials, and services in accordance with project schedule, HSEQ, and regulatory requirements.
A successful candidate must have at least an understanding for the EU Utilities directive because it will be their responsibility to co-create a supply chain strategy for the EPCm project. This project is a major sustainable energy project that requires candidates to be familiar with the EPC lifcycle.
You'll be:
Procurement & Contracting
- Develop and execute the Project Procurement and Contracting Plan, covering materials, equipment, and third-party services.
- Prepare and issue RFQ packages, evaluate bids, and develop award recommendations.
- Manage vendor qualification and maintain the approved vendor list in alignment with customer and EPCM standards.
- Negotiate commercial terms to optimize cost, schedule, and risk profile.
Supply Chain Leadership
- Oversee all supply chain functions: procurement, subcontracts, logistics, material management, and supplier quality surveillance (SQS).
- Ensure all supply chain activities align with engineering deliverables and construction sequencing.
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing, expediting, and logistics efficiency.
- Resolve contractual and commercial disputes in collaboration with legal and project management.
Governance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements, including sustainability and local content obligations.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status, vendor performance, and risk management.
- Support cost forecasting, cash flow planning, and change management processes.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary supply chain team (SQS, Subcontracts, Procurement, Logistics & Material Management).
- Interface with engineering, construction, and finance to ensure full supply chain integration.
- Represent supply chain in project reviews, client meetings, and audits.
You'll have:
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Several years’ experience in supply chain or procurement management on major EPCM/EPC (execute) projects within energy, oil & gas, or renewables.
- Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing and procurement plans.
- Familiar with EU and Danish procurement standards, logistics regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Skilled in ERP and project management systems (SAP, Oracle, Aconex, Power BI).
- Fluent in English.
