Core Responsibilities:
-Lead and manage the plot allocation function to ensure the identification and allocation of plots in the most suitable locations, in full compliance with applicable development codes, planning policies, zoning regulations, and land-use requirements.
-Establish and maintain a comprehensive digital land allocation and land-information platform containing accurate, up-to-date plot data, planning parameters, infrastructure availability, and allocation status to support efficient decision-making and enable the commercial team to lease land in a timely and transparent manner.
- Responsible for Access and Utility configuration drawing to be shared with the investor, indicating the utility connection and access points in coordination with the CAD specialist and transportation team.
-Ensure that all allocated plots are supported by the required utilities, infrastructure capacity, and access provisions aligned with the intended land use and investor needs.
-Review investor requirements and initiate all necessary land-management transactions to facilitate development readiness, including plot mergers, plot subdivisions, land-use changes, and plot registrations.
-Coordinate and submit all required land-management transaction requests to the relevant authorities, including the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), and follow through the approval process until the transactions are fully reflected in the Abu Dhabi Municipality portal and the updated affection plan is issued and ready for investor use.
-Act as the focal point for coordination between planning, infrastructure, commercial, and authority stakeholders to ensure land readiness, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of plots to investors.
-Monitor and report on allocation progress, transaction status, and authority approvals to ensure transparency, accountability, and adherence to development timelines.
- Responsible for plot status updates and reporting to management.
- Engage in Plot Allocation Audit with the excellence team.
People Management Responsibilities:
Strategic Responsibilities:
Custodian of Plot Allocation Process.
Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, or associated field. Master’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
Membership of a recognized professional body (AICP, RTPI….etc.) preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in Urban Planning.
Relevant experience in the UAE.
At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
