Role Overview
The Business Development Executive (BDE) will play a key role in driving new business growth, building strategic client relationships, and identifying opportunities within the Irish market. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to build a career in business development within the IT and consulting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
- Generate leads through online research, networking, and outbound outreach.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Understand client needs and prepare tailored business proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client relations (preferably in IT or professional services).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
Desirable Skills
- Experience in B2B or IT sector sales.
- Understanding of the Irish and UK business markets.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
