SEK International School Dublin, located in Greystones, is seeking to appoint a Science and Biology Teacher to join our team. This is a temporary position (1 year) with an expected start date in September 2026.
Mission:
To inspire and guide students' learning in science and biology within the IB framework, fostering their academic development and critical thinking.
Functions:
Teaching Sciences in the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the International Baccalaureate.
Teaching Biology in the Diploma Programme (DP) of the International Baccalaureate.
Contributing to the academic and personal development of students in Secondary and High School stages.
Supporting the mission and values of SEK International Schools through active participation in the school community.
Requirements:
Degree in Biology or a related discipline (Chemistry, Physics).
Previous teaching experience in international schools.
Training or experience within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
English: minimum level C1.
Spanish: not required, but a plus.
Energetic, well-organized, flexible, and experienced in working with students.
Teaching experience in any subject will be valued.
Key Information:
Location: Greystones (Dublin) – SEK International School Dublin.
Start date: 1 September 2026.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.and one Saturday per month from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Contract type: Temporary (1 year).
