Responsibilities
- Translate diverse source materials from English into Chinese (Traditional) accurately and appropriately.
- Ensure translations are culturally relevant, clear and align with client specifications.
- Maintain consistency in terminology and style throughout translation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and reviewers to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform self-review and quality checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Native proficiency in Chinese (Traditional) with excellent command of English.
- Must be located in Taiwan.
- Demonstrated professional experience in post-editing, translation preferably in a freelance capacity.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances and localization practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g. SDL Trados Studio) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines in a remote environment.
