As a Senior Cost & Procurement Specialist, you will own the financial performance of our construction projects end-to-end. From early feasibility through design, procurement, construction, and handover, you ensure cost efficiency, budget control, and data-driven decision-making across all regions. This role sits at the intersection of construction, finance, and strategy, bringing visibility, rigor, and optimization to every stage of the project lifecycle.
Lead project cost control across all phases: feasibility, design, construction, and delivery
Build, validate, and continuously optimize project budgets and forecasts
Track cost evolution across regions (US, Canada, EU) and flag risks proactively
Drive value engineering initiatives in collaboration with technical teams
Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions when needed
Plan and manage tender processes, supplier selection, and contract negotiations
Analyze bids and support commercial decision-making
Oversee procurement logistics and ensure timely material delivery
Control invoices, approvals, and project cash flow
Develop and maintain cost tracking and procurement reporting systems
Analyze historical and live project data to improve forecasting accuracy
Define and monitor KPIs related to cost efficiency, supplier performance, and risk
Provide clear, actionable insights to Project Directors and stakeholders
Identify financial and operational risks across projects
Ensure compliance with internal standards and international regulations
Advise on cost implications of design and scope changes
Implement controls to prevent budget deviations and supplier issues
Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar
10+ years of experience in construction projects
At least 5 years focused on cost management, budgeting, or estimations
Experience in international environments
Strong command of Excel and cost control tools (Presto or similar)
Solid understanding of construction cost structures and procurement processes
Fluent in English and Spanish
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
High ownership and self-management
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions
Results-oriented with a focus on efficiency and excellence
