We are looking for a talented Specialist, Data & Systems Assurance to join us. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the Group’s assurance over finance relevant IT/ISs from ITGC and configuration perspectives; including performing risk assessments, scoping, testing processes and controls effectiveness in line with internal policies and external regulation
- Prepare assurance reports upon conclusion of testing and provide regular updates to management.
- Interpreting the financial audit impact of IT risks and control weaknesses and Integrating Data Analytics testing into an assurance approach
- Perform and review follow-up testing on prior internal audit and IC&A findings
- Lead the mitigation of SOD risks across the group through a GRC tool
- Assist with design of ITGCs and responding to design related queries
- Partner with stakeholders, business management, other control groups (i.e. risk management, compliance, IT GRC), external auditors, and regulators, establishing strong working relationships while maintaining independence
- Lead validation of newly implemented systems
- Assist the team’s utilization of AI, process mining and data analytics tools to aid IC&A assurance and governance objectives
- Assist management and colleagues with various IC&A tasks
Qualifications:
- We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management information systems, accounting information systems or other closely related field
- Professional qualification is required: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Preferred:
- Advanced Degree/professional qualification in a business field (e.g. MBA, CPA, Masters etc)
- Further studies (Masters) in an IT field
- Data Analytics certification
Experience
Minimum:
- 4 or more years of IT and information system assurance over SAP and/or SAGE
- Developing high quality efficient data driven audit strategies to address audit risk in the most effective way
- Utilizing data analytics visualization to create interactive Dashboards for identifying and assessing risks at planning stage of assurance engagement/to aid sample selection to present findings.
- ITGC testing and advising mitigation of SOD risks through utilization of GRC tools
- Familiarity with continuous control monitoring
Preferred:
- Familiarity with internal controls/ICFR as well as IFRS/IAS/GAAP
- Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley regulation (SOX)
- Providing assurance through re-performance using data analytics (Databricks, SQL, Python, VBA, R). Any other programming language will be beneficial
- Working in a big four firm; as part of FAIT/IT assurance function.
- Familiarity with COBIT/COSO/ISO
- Experience working with (as a client) or for (as a team member) of large listed companies (US & UK)
