About the role
This training role provides exposure across the domains of the Public Health Medicine Advanced Training Curriculum. Based from the Lithgow Campus of the National School of Medicine in regional New South Wales, the trainee contributes to public health activities including education, research, epidemiological health assessment, and other activities related to the generation of evidence and the promotion of population health. There is a focus on quality and safety supporting the delivery of environmentally sustainable public health and healthcare. Reporting to the Professor of Population and Planetary Health, the trainee will gain experience in academic public health and in applied intersectoral working linked to the health of regional populations. There will be protected time for educational activities and the potential to participate in research meetings and conferences.
