About this Role:
Queensland Rail’s Support Maintainers play a crucial role in the maintenance and vegetation control of our rail corridor, station precincts and within our train stabling yards, this role contributes to the safety of customers and employee’s by ensuring our assets are maintained to a high standard.
Our Network Maintenance team are seeking a Support Maintainers to join their team and make positive impacts to the rail network.

What does the day of a Support Maintainer look like?
Working in a semi- autonomous team you will be predominantly travelling between sites to perform a broad range of varied tasks such as but not limited too: Mowing, hedging, whipper snipping and various other vegetation control management tasks, you will be also attending to asset maintenance requirements for example fencing repairs, graffiti and waste removal.

Support Maintainers predominantly work in the field therefore you will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, in particular hot days where outdoors temperatures are high.
