We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations within an assisted living community. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents and staff alike. As a key leader, you will oversee daily maintenance activities, coordinate repairs, and manage a team of technicians to uphold the highest standards of facilities management. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the community, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building upkeep
Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality work
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and industrial maintenance issues
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance to support regulatory requirements
Collaborate with management to order supplies and ensure all systems operate efficiently and reliably
Qualifications
3+ years experience as a maintenance supervisor in an assisted living community
Proven management experience supervising maintenance teams within facilities management or manufacturing environments
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance systems
Knowledge of HVAC systems including repair and routine servicing
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication skills for clear documentation and team coordination
