Meadia Heights Golf Club is located two miles south from the city center of historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is managed by Bobby Jones Links. The club offers a challenging private 18-hole championship course layout, draped over rolling hills bordering the area’s world-famous farmland.
Meadia Heights is hiring for Pool Cooks. The Pool Cook prepares a variety of quick serve food products, including salads, pizzas, and sandwiches, according to the club’s standard recipes and using various equipment and utensils as outlined in the daily prep list.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Learn and work following Bobby Jones Links’ Core Purpose, Core Values, and 17 Service Standards. These are the rules by which we serve.

Follow the guidelines in Carpe Diem, our master company operations handbook.
Prepares and cooks food according to directives.
Verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
Coordinates with bartender to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time.
Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
Takes inventory of all items required for station set-up and determines those that require preparation.
Notifies Sous Chef of expected shortages.
Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
Sets up, maintains, and breaks down pool cook station.
Covers, dates, and neatly stores all leftover products that are reusable.
Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment.
Closes the kitchen properly using the closing checklist.
Attends kitchen staff meetings and daily huddles.
Adheres to all food handling and safety regulations throughout the kitchen and restaurant.
Follows all state and local health and food safety regulations.
Follows all safety procedures for operating and cleaning machinery.
Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role during an emergency.
Safely operates cooking equipment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
