What You'll Get to Do Reporting directly to the Ground Operations Manager, the Ground Operations Coordinator is responsible for providing support to all GSE and Facility Maintenance staff and projects. This will include making travel arrangements and coordinating technicians and third-party vendors. • Responsible for the coordination of GSE and Facility Maintenance projects • Coordinate and track the status of all changes and updates to project schedules • Prepare and deliver project status updates and provide summaries • Schedule and manage tasks/projects done by external contractors as applicable • Outsource tasks/projects to third party vendors when required/approved • Responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget • Schedule all travel arrangements for GSE and Facility Maintenance staff including third-party vendors • Manage vehicle insurance for all company vehicles • Work with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepancies • Assist management to identify ongoing cost reduction opportunities within the department • Continuously work to optimize workflows and labor productivity • Assist with monitoring and facilitating the deice program • Provide back up to the GSE and Facility Assistant Managers by assisting with payroll approvals and reviewing GSE and Facility Maintenance timecards • Promote occupational health & safety practices within your department and participate in the development and monitoring of training • Other duties as assigned Skills & Experience We Value • Working knowledge of facilities and maintenance equipment, building material and required standards considered an asset • Ability to interpret plans and specifications • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs • Excellent communication skills • Ability to handle multiple priorities while planning and managing numerous project schedules • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Travel is a requirement of this position • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Enhanced Security Clearance qualification • Inuktitut and/or Inuinnaqtun language considered an asset • Preference will be given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
