

Position Summary:
The specialist will work within the Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP) education project in the OIST Center for Quantum Technologies. Education and research topics of interest include the theoretical aspects of Quantum Computation, Quantum Cryptography, Quantum Communications and Quantum Sensing. The successful candidate will work for the educational course program, the research & technology program, and the global-leadership program with the SIP team members.
This position is funded by the SIP grant.
Qualifications:
(Required)
PhD in Quantum Information Science and/or Technology or in a related to fields
PhD- level of understanding of quantum mechanics
Interest in working with industry
Ability to speak and write in Japanese at a business level
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
(Preferred)
Ability to speak and write in English at a business level
Numerical skills and educational experiences in both undergraduate and Master’s level
Experience of External Fund project for more than 3 years
Teaching experience at university level in quantum technologies
