We are currently working on upgrading our customers from a self‑hosted Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement 8.2 environment to version 9.1. The project is underway, and we are now in the research and spike phase—specifically:
Identifying and scripting required changes to our custom code
Gaining a clearer understanding of the performance improvements and behavioral changes introduced in 9.1
Our goal is to complete research and stand up our first production organization by the end of June 2026, followed by issue resolution and a phased rollout across approximately 90 customer organizations by the end of September 2026.
Our current team includes:
One senior developer with broad software development experience
Limited weekly support from a D365 architect
Approximately 50% allocation of a DevOps / systems engineer
To accelerate progress and reduce risk, we are considering adding short‑ to medium‑term support from a developer or team with hands‑on D365 CE upgrade and customization experience, particularly to help us work through spikes and implementation tasks.
