Greenvolt Next is seeking an experienced and dynamic Country Manager who will be responsible for leading and scaling the company’s decentralized energy business in the Polish market. This includes defining and executing the local strategy, building a high-performing team, driving commercial growth, and ensuring operational excellence.
You will act as the key representative of Greenvolt Next in Poland, aligning local initiatives with global objectives while adapting to market dynamics. The role requires a strong balance between strategic leadership and hands-on execution in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment focused on the energy transition.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Strategy & Market Development
- Define and execute Greenvolt Next’s strategy for the Polish market, aligned with group objectives.
- Identify market opportunities in decentralized energy solutions (e.g., solar PV, self-consumption, energy efficiency, storage).
- Analyze regulatory frameworks, competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide strategic decisions.
- Develop and manage the country business plan, including revenue targets and growth roadmap.
Commercial Leadership - Drive commercial performance and ensure achievement of sales and profitability targets.
- Build and lead the local sales organization, focusing on key segments such as industrial, commercial, and logistics sectors.
- Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders (clients, developers, EPCs, financial partners).
- Oversee negotiation of major contracts and key deals.
Operations & Project Execution - Ensure efficient delivery of projects, from origination to execution and commissioning.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, operations) and external partners.
- Monitor project pipeline, timelines, and margins.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development - Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing local team across functions.
- Foster a strong company culture aligned with Greenvolt’s values and mission.
- Promote collaboration between local and international teams.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance management processes.
Financial Management - Own the P&L for Poland, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with finance teams on reporting and performance analysis.
Stakeholder Management & Representation - Act as the main representative of Greenvolt Next in Poland.
- Build relationships with key market players, regulators, associations, and partners.
- Support brand positioning and visibility in the market.
- Engage with the international leadership team on strategic alignment.
Risk Management & Compliance - Identify and mitigate business risks (regulatory, operational, financial).
- Ensure compliance with local laws, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Maintain high standards of governance and ethical business conduct.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional experience, with significant exposure to leadership roles.
- Proven track record in business development, preferably in renewable energy, energy services, or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of decentralized energy solutions (solar PV, self-consumption models, PPAs, etc.).
- Experience managing P&L and driving business growth.
- Good knowledge of the Polish energy market and regulatory environment.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
