Senior Oracle Apps DBA

The Senior Oracle APPS DBA is responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environments. The role requires expertise in configuring advanced Oracle features like Cluster, Data Guard, and replication, along with extensive experience in EBS installation, patching, upgrading, and cloning. Proficiency in performance tuning, Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN). Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Oracle security features is required, with experience in Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE, SOA Suite, and WebLogic preferred.

• Configure and manage advanced Oracle features, including Oracle Cluster, replication, and Data Guard, to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, and cloning of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) in both single-node and multi-node environments.
• Apply advanced performance tuning techniques to optimize EBS operations and system performance.
• Implement backup and recovery strategies using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
• Work across various operating systems, including UNIX and Linux, ensuring compatibility and stability.
• Lead Oracle EBS upgrade and technical implementation efforts
• Utilize Oracle Advanced Security features to safeguard sensitive data.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE, SOA Suite, and WebLogic (preferred).
• Advanced Knowledge of setup and configuration of Oracle components and needed infrastructure on Oracle OCI.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
2. Min 8 years of experience in Oracle Databases and Oracle e-business suite
3. OCP or OCI certification is Mandatory.
4. Oracle EBS Install, Maintenance, and Patch certification is a plus.
5. ITIL Foundation is preferred
6. Expert-level knowledge of Oracle EBS environments, including advanced configuration, patching, upgrading, and cloning.
7. Proficiency with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, replication, and other high availability features.
8. Extensive experience in performance tuning and system optimization for Oracle EBS.
9. Advanced skills in Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) for implementing robust backup and recovery strategies.
10. Strong experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems and their integration with Oracle EBS.
11. Expertise in Oracle Hyperion, OBIEE, SOA Suite, and WebLogic.
12. Advanced understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for setup and configuration.
13. Ability to lead and manage multiple Oracle EBS implementations and upgrades.
