The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisors, you are required to perform maintenance duties such as but not limited to regular inspection of the common areas, repairs/painting of vacated suites as required, preventative maintenance, ordering of necessary supplies for repairs, recommending qualified tradesmen to perform work beyond the scope of general maintenance, and other duties as may be assigned through the Maintenance Supervisor. You are also required to respond to building maintenance emergencies.

You are required to have the physical ability necessary to carry out strenuous maintenance responsibilities. The maintenance worker is regularly exposed to and in direct contact with dust, dirt, germs and human feces.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Organize and complete tasks independently, meeting all job expectations and responsibilities.
• Work cooperatively and effectively under general supervision.
• Work constructively and respectfully with program managers, staff, tenants, and colleagues.
• Operate necessary tools and equipment.
• Lift up to 50lbs, walk between buildings regardless of weather conditions, walk up and down stairs with tools and equipment, and be on your feet for most or all the workday.
• Operate a company-provided cell phone and learn to use the required maintenance applications.
