FSQA Technician - $22.20/hr -1st Shift - New Holland, PA

Job Details:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems, documenting and calculating results accurately; taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product) and report results to management; any additional assignments requested. All team members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in the Fresh Meats industry preferred or other QA type experience.
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
Special Skills: Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork; ability
to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce; good problem
identification and problem solving skills; math and organizational
skills; ability to read and interpret product specifications; must
function well under stress; must have flexibility to work where and when
needed.
Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (70 lbs. or
more).

Team member must have less than 5 points to be considered.

Location: Candidates must be local within 60 miles of travel to location.
