Within Stellantis' global scope, support and contribute to durability activities across Powertrain systems, ensuring robust and reliable component performance throughout the lifecycle. Provide technically rigorous analyses, enabling engineering teams to make informed decisions based on clear, structured, and evidence‑driven evaluations. Contribute to reducing warranty costs and field issues through early detection of weak points.
Responsibilities :
-Conduct statistical analysis (including Weibull) to support design recommendations and identify weak points with a high level of autonomy and clarity.
- Identify durability risks and contribute to mitigation plans with cross‑functional teams.
- Support continuous improvement through field feedback review and lessons‑learned integration.
- Produce reports that present context, methodology, data interpretation, conclusions, and recommendations in a clear and decision‑supportive format.
Activities
- Perform Weibull and reliability analysis to characterize failure modes and estimate lifetime distributions
- Capture field failure feedback from warranty/after-sales/over the air data to identify critical components and weak signals
-Identify opportunities via benchmark analyses
-Support and contribute to define the durability targets
- Support the updating of durability standards
- Provide technical support to design, validation, and quality teams.
- Support to define the sample size for testing to build robust DV/PV validation plans
