Reports to: Pre Sale Applications Manager
Location: Afek Industrial Park, Rosh Ha'ayin
We are seeking an application engineer to support our Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Fabric product lines. In this role, you will serve as a Pre-sales technical expert, executing pre-sales projects, samples and demonstrations, collaborating with customers, internal teams, and partners to ensure the successful implementation, optimization, and support of our digital printing solutions across the globe
What Will You Do?
· Execute pre-sales projects and tasks while demonstrating Kornit’s value proposition and technology advantages
· Address application challenges while developing mitigations and solutions
· Manage the DTG lab, including all measurement equipment and consumables
· Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to address complex challenges.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless pre-sales task execution, including Post-sales, R&D and graphic designers.
· Conduct live demonstrations showcasing Kornit’s digital printing capabilities.
· Provide expert guidance on system applications, workflows, and best practices.
· Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and digital printing workflows.
· Deliver comprehensive training to end-users on system operation, maintenance, and optimization.
· Analyze customer production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and performance.
What should you have?
· Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, Printing Technology, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital printing, print production, or a related technical field.
· Understanding of digital prepress workflows and file preparation.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
· Good English language skills (written and verbal). Other languages would be desirable.
Advantages:
· Experience with RIP software such as Print Factory, ColorGate, Caldera, X-Rite and Inedit
· Some knowledge of color science, spectrophotometry, and calibration tools
· Knowledge of textile substrates and finishing processes would be desirable
