Sr Associate - Research Search & Analytics - IN

This position executes projects independently in diverse areas of technology and Patent Services, with primary focus on Patent Searching. 

The role involves independently understanding project requirements, performing patent and non-patent search using multiple paid/non-paid databases, identifying high quality results, and ensuring high quality deliverables for the clients. Additionally, the role may also require guiding team members on client projects.

1. Project
   1. Ensuring high Quality delivery and TAT compliance; 100% compliance to client SLAs.
   2. Performing patent and non-patent search using multiple paid and non-paid databases
   3. Identifying high quality search results and preparing high definition reports
   4. Ensuring closure of any feedback received on the project.
2. People
   1. Contributing to training/upskilling team members, as required; 
   2. Providing in-depth feedback and feedforward to team members on various projects, as and when required 
3. Operations
   1. Meeting individual and project level targets
   2. Ensuring timely delivery of internal & external reports
   3. Executing various processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
4. Misc.
   1. Displaying effective and responsive communication
   2. Participating in Learning and Development activities at various levels; supporting various BU wide initiatives (as required)

Complying to all specific company policies to apply without exception, including but not limited to compulsory adherence of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 guidelines

A minimum of 2 years previous experience in Intellectual Property – Patents

In-depth knowledge of technical literature in the area of subject matter expertise

Good knowledge of various Patent Services, including Prior Art Searching, Infringement Analysis, Patent Analytics, etc.

Knowledge of US Patent Law (35 USC § 101, 102, 112 etc.)

Ability to analyze complex issues and apply analytical thinking 

High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite of applications.

B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent

Must be well organized, dynamic, and action-orientated, which meets deadlines and makes it happen.

Must have ability to build and maintain relationships, and work confidently with people at all levels

Must possess an enthusiastic and approachable personality.

Must be an excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility.

Must have ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality

Must be willing to accept responsibility and make decisions based on experience, education and understanding of project needs.
