This role is responsible for ensuring that projects move efficiently from planning through delivery by coordinating across teams, maintaining momentum, and reducing execution friction.
The Innovation Delivery Specialist serves as a key operational partner, translating priorities into clear action plans, tracking progress, and supporting delivery across multiple initiatives simultaneously. This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive communication, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while keeping teams aligned and accountable. In addition, this individual will help establish delivery discipline, improve processes, and develop tools that enhance visibility and execution reliability across innovation efforts.

What You’ll Do:

Execution Planning & Coordination
Work closely with Innovation leadership, business stakeholders, and IT partners to translate priorities into actionable plans, defined milestones, and clear ownership.
Support planning activities by clarifying scope, sequencing work, and aligning on delivery expectations.
Initiative Execution Support
Support the execution of multiple innovation and technology initiatives concurrently.
Monitor progress, track commitments, and proactively identify risks, delays, or dependencies that may impact delivery.
Delivery Discipline & Operating Rhythms
Establish and maintain consistent delivery rhythms, including status updates, follow-ups, and coordination meetings.
Ensure continued progress and accountability once decisions are made.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate across business teams, Innovation, and IT to align expectations, dependencies, and timelines.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Risk & Issue Management
Identify execution risks and recurring delivery challenges early.
Support the development of mitigation strategies and escalate issues when necessary to protect delivery timelines.
Operational Artifacts & Enablement
Develop and maintain practical tools and resources such as go-live readiness checklists, dependency trackers, delivery templates, and workflow enhancements.
Improve visibility, organization, and execution reliability across initiatives.
Process Improvement
Capture lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery practices.
Help translate insights into repeatable, scalable processes.
Interdependencies & Alignment
Support identification and management of interdependencies across technology, operations, and business functions.
Ensure initiatives are aligned with delivery realities and established practices.
Documentation
Maintain clear and concise documentation related to initiative status, risks, dependencies, and key deliverables.
Ensure transparency and continuity across teams.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in operations, program management, delivery support, consulting, or a similar role focused on execution and coordination.
Working knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and technology delivery practices.
Familiarity with project management and/or Agile delivery environments.
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, Agents, or similar technologies is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey status, risks, and next steps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and propose practical solutions.
Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence without formal authority.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to shifting demands, and maintain momentum in ambiguous environments.

Working Environment:
This role involves both physical and mental demands and may be performed in various settings, including offices, construction sites, and confined spaces like elevator pits. Physical Demands:
This role requires regular sitting, talking, and hearing in meetings and by phone. Employees must navigate tight spaces, climb ladders, move around construction sites, take measurements, and travel by car, air, or rail. Duties may involve working at heights and in confined spaces, using hands for tasks like typing and operating elevator components, and applying up to 30 lbs. of force. Close visual attention is also required.
Mental Demands:
This position requires strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Employees must interpret complex information, apply mathematical and logical reasoning, quickly learn new skills, and manage detailed, multitask workloads under shifting deadlines. Regular interaction with executives, colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders is also expected.
