Toro Railings is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team in a unionized manufacturing environment. This existing role is well-suited for a quality-focused professional with strong welding experience and a commitment to safety and craftsmanship. This role is Monday to Thursday, 7:30am-4:00pm shift (though may be asked from time to time to also work Fridays as business needs may require). Job Duties • Set up and operate welding machines according to instructions and specifications • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and job instructions to complete welding work accurately • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet required quality standards • Inspect finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications • Complete all required production, quality, and safety documentation in a timely manner • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, tools, and equipment • Follow all company and union safety rules, policies, and procedures at all times • Perform other general duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor Requirements • Valid CWB (Canadian Welding Bureau) certification is required • Proven experience with MIG and TIG welding, particularly in structural welding applications • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship • Ability to work effectively in a unionized environment and as part of a team Compensation: $31.90 per hour
