Environmental Services Technician – Operating Room opportunity in beautiful Hamilton, Montana!! The Operating Room Environmental Services Technician is responsible for executing the daily duties required to establish and maintain a safe, hygienic, and aesthetically pleasing care environment in the OR. While executing the assigned tasks, the OR EVS Tech will have contact with patients, visitors, and clinical and non-clinical staff. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned service areas. Responsible for ensuring timely room turns related to patient throughput within the principles of environmental hygiene and infection prevention. The OR Environmental Services Technician in accordance with organizational standards of quality is an essential contributor to cleaning, disinfection, infection prevention and patient experience. Minimum Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. • Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public. Knowledge of fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. Basic EVS Tech hospital experience of 3 months minimum Additional 10 hours of OR disinfection training
