The Service Planner - Reliability is responsible for ensuring the effective planning and optimal deployment of current and upcoming mandates, while taking into account all assigned resources. To achieve this, the Service Planner works closely with the sales, management, engineering, and consulting teams. They provide ongoing follow-up with internal and external clients and communicate the information required for the preparation and execution of mandates to all relevant team stakeholders.
What you bring to the table
- Plan and organize mandates within the planning tool, assign resources, and ensure the distribution of the information required for execution.
- Participate in the various stages of mandates (pre-planning, kickoff, follow-ups, and reviews) to ensure efficient execution and support continuous improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date availability of technical resources (vacation, training, and banked hours) while optimizing their utilization.
- Monitor ongoing projects and contract renewals in collaboration with the sales and management teams.
- Communicate with clients to confirm timelines and coordinate operational requirements (health and safety, equipment, and tools).
- Coordinate the availability of the equipment, tools, and PPE required for mandate execution.
- Support capacity planning by sharing utilization forecasts and helping identify resource gaps.
- Support the sales and administrative teams with bids, project setup, and billing preparation.
- Collaborate with project managers and other planners to ensure seamless execution of mandates, including multi-department projects.
Essential skills and qualifications to be successful
- 5 years of experience working in a project management, coordination, or industrial planning role/team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English would be considered an asset.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where collaboration drives success.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
