OSHC Manager

We’re looking for a passionate and values-driven leader to manage our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program in Lockridge. Our 35-place service is situated in the heart of Lockridge, with Lockridge Primary School a short, 'walking bus' away! This newly created role will lead from the front to shape a safe, engaging, and high-quality environment for children.

You will be the Nominated Supervisor for the service and your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the OSHC service
• While our Compliance Team maintains oversight of legislative changes and sets policies & procedures, you will ensure the effective implementation and integration into everyday practice
• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of educators
• Designing and embedding engaging, inclusive programs that reflect children’s interests and needs
• Building strong, positive relationships with families, schools, and the local community
• Take ownership of enrolment growth and service visibility
• Manage the enrolment process and debt management
• Managing rosters, budgets, resources, and service sustainability
• Driving continuous improvement through reflection, assessment, and quality initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to understand and apply regulatory frameworks in practice
• Experience leading teams and implementing change
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Selection criteria

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood, OSHC, Social Work, Community Services or similar
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly regarded
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
• Current First Aid, CPR, National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
