Join our state-wide Through Care Team with a direct focus on male adult clients who are considered to be of a high-risk of reoffending for domestic and family violence offences.
The role:
- Deliver intensive and high-quality casework to a discrete number of targeted male adult detainees (both pre and post release);
- Work collaboratively with correctional facility staff, specialist advocates and other stakeholders;
- Provide specialist referral pathways to male adult clients and their families, and in many contexts, their communities;
- Report on impact of your case work and network referrals;

About you:
- Offer your experience with a Degree in Social Work or Behavioural Sciences from a recognised tertiary institution (or a minimum five (5) years' demonstrated work experience with equivalent competencies relating to the case management of clients in the Criminal Justice System);
- Must be the holder (or be eligible for immediate application) of a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work;
- Demonstrate your professional familiarity with the Criminal Justice System;
- Must hold a current Driver Licence, have a reliable driving history and be willing to drive for work (essential);
- Experience working with clients in our network is highly regarded as are qualifications, research or current studies related to trauma-informed practice with adult male clients.
