Job Summary
The Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in shaping CADY’s financial management strategy and contributing to the development of the organization’s long-term strategic goals. In addition to providing high-level financial leadership, the VP will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced policies, processes, and controls that strengthen both finance and overall operational effectiveness, ensuring the organization is positioned for sustainable growth and scalability.
Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of the finance and accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting, ensuring processes scale with rapid organizational growth
Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, driving decision-making around capital allocation, growth initiatives, and operational efficiency
Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning, providing insights to optimize revenue, margins, and cash flow
Drive capital strategy, including fundraising, investor relations, debt financing, and cash management to fuel expansion
Establish, implement, and continually improve accounting policies, systems, and internal controls to support scalable, repeatable, and compliant financial operations
Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, KPIs, and ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Lead FP&A initiatives, partnering across functions to identify key revenue and cost drivers and design reporting tools that enable data-driven decisions
Manage all tax, compliance, and regulatory obligations, working with external advisors as needed to mitigate risk
Optimize treasury and cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity for growth initiatives
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing finance team, including managing external resources such as contract bookkeepers or consultants
Support M&A, partnership, or other strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis, diligence, and execution support
Drive process improvements, automation, and scalable workflows that reduce manual effort and enable rapid growth
Provide timely insights and guidance on key financial metrics to inform executive decisions in a fast-paced environment
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Skill Requirements
10 plus years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business. CPA and/or CMA preferred but not required.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Experience in a service (not manufacturing) business with activity based project costing
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
Ability to use a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment regularly.
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach within an office environment.
Ability to lift and move items up to 15 lbs., such as files, office supplies, or equipment.
Comfortable working in a standard indoor office setting with moderate noise levels.
Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and through virtual meeting platforms.
