Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales leadership roles.
- 10 years of experience in sales leadership, managing a team and growing talent.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern technology stacks that support business scaling.
- Experience with cloud, data, and AI technologies.
- Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently as it is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Korean.
Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree.
- Experience leading large-scale businesses and ability to work with high levels of ambiguity and complexity as the business evolves.
- Understanding of how various cloud technologies work together to drive deeper technology adoption within the existing large account base.
- Understanding of the global cloud computing market and key drivers for growth in the digital native segment.
- Ability to build a high performing sales team and build an excellent team culture.

As the Field Sales Director, Digital Natives, Google Cloud Korea, you will be responsible for progressing Google Cloud’s strategy for adoption and growth in the digital natives ecosystem. You will focus on client engagement and field enablement work in South Korea while supporting global industry initiatives. You will support sales teams in winning and growing digital native customers, collaborate with and guide product and engineering organizations on product strategy and roadmaps, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute against challenging growth goals.
Additionally, you will work with global and regional enablement teams to help develop and grow the Google Cloud digital natives community and field personnel to build deeper industry knowledge and capabilities across the company.

- Participate in C-level, founder, and investor engagements in support of sales teams’ account strategies. Understand customer demand and work with our product, solutions, and partner teams to develop the industry portfolio.
- Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction. Act as a trusted advisor to customers.
- Understand complex customer requirements on a business and technical level. Develop and provide custom presentations on Google Cloud products to customers to solve their business problems.
- Serve as a key contributor to the digital natives industry strategy and roadmap.
