Quintech Electronics & Communications, Inc. is seeking a Production Department Assistant whose primary responsibilities will include providing support to production and scheduling through data entry and job entry processes ensuring reorder points are constantly reviewed.
Additional Duties:
Enter job orders into ERP systems based on customer purchase order requirements.
Maintain and monitor WIP and FG reorder point for any changes in quantities; looking for trends based upon the most recent usage and sales forecast. Provide management with recommendations of any findings and/or changes pertaining to reorder points.
Print job packets and bar codes for orders scheduled by the Scheduler.
Maintain label makers as well as ensure supplies are maintained.
Support Production Manager and Scheduler as needed.
Review and make recommendations to Production Manager and Scheduler on job packet printing contents.
Support day to day operations of lead production subgroup order related workload related coordination.
Perform other related duties as requested, directed, or assigned. May work in other areas within the manufacturing department as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Highschool diploma or GED
Prior admin/office experience preferred
Work requires attention to detail and a strong math aptitude as well as strong planning, organizational, time and problem-solving skills.
Must have ability to understand departmental operations and procedures along with a demonstrated ability to report to work as scheduled and on time.
Must have knowledge of typical business operations and working use of a variety of office equipment and software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database software (MSWord, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills along with ability to read, interpret and carry out both written and oral instructions.
