Kelly+Partners Brookvale is seeking an experienced Tax Manager (Business Services), or a Senior Accountant seeking a clear pathway into a managerial role.

The Opportunity
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
- Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Lead and review the preparation of FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Take ownership of a portfolio of clients and delivering high‑quality advice
- Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value
- Build, lead and develop a team, including mentoring and setting direction
- Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and drive growth
- Work closely with the bookkeeping team to drive further value for clients
Who this role is for:
- 5+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Expertise in accounting software like Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and Class
- Strong Office365 skills with the ability to pickup new software packages quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership
- Interested in leadership and motivated by building and mentoring a team
