Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to join our team in Queenstown. This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for managing and supervising construction crews to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to specification, and with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Our work spans a diverse range of civil construction projects, including earthworks, three waters, utilities installation, roading structures, and emergency response works. You will play a pivotal role across this varied scope, planning, coordinating, and supervising activity on site.
A strong people leader, you will support the development of your team through training, coaching, and clear direction
Key Responsibilities
Organise, direct and monitor project operations, ensuring all tasks and priorities are planned and resourced effectively.
Supervise and support crews on site, including providing hands on guidance and training where required.
Coordinate subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project objectives.
Manage site costs, equipment, plant, and materials to minimise wastage and downtime.
Liaise with clients, residents, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and positive relationships.
Monitor compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements, promoting a culture of Zero Harm.
