

JOB TITLE: IT support Technician on an On-Call basis
LOCATION: East Timor, Dili
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide on-call technical support to end users. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues in a timely and efficient manner. You will respond to incidents via phone, email, or ticketing systems, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Key responsibilities:
Provide first-line technical support (hardware, software, network issues)Troubleshoot user problems via phone, email, or ticketing system. Set up and maintain user accounts, devices, and access permissions. Install and configure software and hardware.
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams
Maintain documentation of issues and resolutions
Ensure minimal disruption to business operations during staff absence
Requirements:
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, sometimes Linux). Experience with helpdesk/ticketing tools. Ability to quickly adapt to an existing environment with minimal training
