We are currently recruiting for a Grading Operative at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.
Shift & Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday - fixed shift, working 18:00hrs to 02:15hrs
Salary: £12.71 per hour (plus 50p per hour backshift premium)
Responsibilities
- Accurately grade potatoes, ensuring all products meet quality and weight specifications.
- Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, following all health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in production or grading roles is advantageous, particularly in the food industry.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role involves standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a team-oriented environment.
