The Opportunity:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our busy Housekeeping Team. We are looking for positive, enthusiastic, and dedicated people with a strong customer focus to help maintain high cleaning & housekeeping standards across our accommodation.
As a Summer Domestic Team Leader, you will be responsible for all aspects of linen operations across multiple buildings. This includes planning stock requirements in line with business levels, adjusting stock as needed, and ensuring the accurate distribution of linen to the housekeeping teams. You will oversee the correct counting and recording of both clean and used linen, and follow up directly with our linen supplier regarding any discrepancies.
You will be supported by a Team Supervisor and a team of eight Linen Assistants, working together to ensure the efficient distribution, collection, and counting of linen, while also managing all aspects of team performance.
You should possess excellent organisational skills and have previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality. A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent service are essential. Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide range of colleagues and customers are required. Experience in workload allocation to team members is essential. Supervisory skills are desirable.
This role require weekend working on a rota basis for the duration of your contract. At all times Flexibility is essential, as working patterns & locations may change in line with business needs.
