He angitūtanga: The opportunity
A Gallery Assistant plays a crucial part in how FRESH gallery Ōtara operates and how visitors experience art. In this role, you will be essential to connecting with the community, safeguarding valuable artworks, supporting artists, and helping maintain a welcoming and well-run gallery environment. You also assist the Gallery Coordinator with the day-to-day operations of FRESH, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Ultimately, your role is about creating meaningful connections—engaging with the Ōtara and Papatoetoe communities and helping them experience and appreciate the artworks on display.

The salary for this role is $60,216 (pro rata).
