1. Assist in analyzing consumer behaviour and conducting market research on social and cultural shifts. Understand brand positioning, and analyze consumer market data and fashion trends.
2. Support the collection and analysis of fashion trend information, including but not limited to colour, fabric, style, and design trends.
3. Gather and study trending topics in fashion, and adjust and update platform content in real-time based on the characteristics of different media platforms and audience preferences.
4. Write fashion trend reports based on the analysis of fashion trends and market research.
5. Collaborate closely with internal teams such as design and marketing to ensure the implementation of trend-related content.
Development Pathways:
1. Buyer:
- Develop new products each season by combining the latest fashion trends with style planning. Manage supplier relationships, including regular evaluations and communication.
- Conduct regular market research to understand fashion trends, competitor structures, styles, fabric, and design details, and dynamically adjust the diversity of product categories.
2. Fashion Trend Research:
- Trend Research and Analysis: Monitor and research market trends, consumer behaviour, and social and cultural changes. Collect and analyze information related to fashion trends, including colours, fabrics, styles, and designs.
- Trend Forecasting: Predict future trends and consumer demands based on fashion trends and market research. Write fashion trend analysis reports to guide product development, brand positioning, and marketing strategies.
3. Content Operations:
- Plan, write, and publish fashion content for Cider to enhance brand influence and reputation.
- Research trending topics in fashion, adjust and update social media content in real-time based on platform characteristics and audience preferences.
4. Merchandise Operations:
- Develop product launch plans based on merchandise planning and category strategies, and take responsibility for achieving sales targets.
- Analyze market trends, uncover category selling points, and work with data insights and user profiles to create and execute promotional plans, turning products into bestsellers.QualificationsRequirements:
1. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree (Class of 2025), preferably in fashion design or fashion management.
2. Strong sensitivity to fashion trends, with a unique perspective on styles and a keen aesthetic sense, along with an eye for identifying trends.
3. Proficient in English for workplace communication, with solid writing skills, strong communication abilities, and excellent teamwork spirit.
4. Prior internship or research experience in the fashion industry, apparel industry, or cross-border industries is preferred.Apply
