WATU, an all-in-one payments platform, is seeking a
Direct Sales Supervisor
with proven experience as a Field Marketer/Marketer in a Microfinance Bank. The successful candidate will focus on driving user acquisition and growth for the savings feature on the WATU App. This role will involve both on-the-ground marketing activities and digital strategies aimed at increasing the adoption and engagement of the savings feature.
Develop and execute field marketing campaigns specifically targeting users interested in savings, leveraging Microfinance Bank experience.
Conduct market research to identify the savings needs of different user demographics, particularly low-income earners and small businesses.
Work closely with the sales and product teams to create tailored messaging and outreach programs that highlight the savings
feature's
benefits.
Manage digital and field campaigns across various marketing channels, including social media, in-person events, and community outreach programs.
Establish partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and community groups to promote the savings feature.
Manage a team of sales agent
Engage potential users directly in communities to educate them on the benefits of using the WATU App for saving, using field marketing strategies
honed in
Microfinance.
Measure and analyze the effectiveness of campaigns through key metrics and provide insights for improving future initiatives.
Requirements
2-3 years experience as a field marketer in a Microfinance Bank.
Strong understanding of savings products and the financial behaviors of target demographics, particularly low-income earners and small businesses.
Ability to conduct both digital and on-the-ground marketing campaigns.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with potential users in the field.
Experience with performance tracking and data analysis to evaluate marketing efforts.
Familiarity with fintech or financial services is a plus.
