The event is designed to give candidates a streamlined experience through registration, credential verification, HR screening, clinical interview, and same day offer for selected applicants. Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in accordance with the organization’s policy and procedures and the unit scope of service.
Promotes a suitable learning environment for staff, acts as mentor/ preceptor as needed.
Supervises and teaches other staff as needed.
Completes mandatory and unit specific competencies and demonstrates ongoing competence.
In conjunction with, but not limited to, the Manager / Charge Nurse / CRN, identifies own professional learning needs and develops an annual learning plan
Demonstrate improvement in clinical practice because of application of new theoretical knowledge.
Initiates or participates in Nursing and or other disciplines research that contributes to continual improvement in standards of care.
Develops and maintains own Professional Portfolio as per HA-AD policy.
Obtains accredited and non-accredited Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Units in compliance with DOH and the organization’s requirements.
Required:
a. Bachelor’s degree in nursing or equivalent qualification of NLT
3 years study duration in “Nursing” from accredited program,
OR
b. Associate Degree Nurses from North America. (Binding), with evidence of passing the National exam
(USA: NCLEX - RN) - Canada: Licensing Exam.
*AND valid/current national license.
*AND BLS
Desired:
* ACLS, PALS relevant to area of specialty.
* NOTE: this excludes programs comprising 2 years nursing + 1
year Midwifery or Community Health. Holders of such programs
qualify as Practical Nurses.
