We are seeking a qualified General Dentist with pediatric experience to join our team and help provide exceptional patient care. We are seeking a motivated individual who is well detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Salary: ranging from up to $400,000 annually
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, crowns, and preventive care, while utilizing pediatric dentistry skills to assess and create treatment plans for children requiring age-appropriate dental care.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric dental cases, including managing early orthodontic needs, designing treatment plans, and addressing common pediatric dental issues.
- Skilled in managing patient comfort, including sedation and anesthesia techniques when necessary for young patients.
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene, post-surgical care, and preventive measures for long-term dental health.
- Maintain accurate patient records, document treatments and progress, and collaborate with specialists as needed for complex pediatric cases.
- Coordinate with treatment coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling, follow-up care, and patient communication.
- Maintain communication with referring dentists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program or experience with pediatric dentistry procedures.
- Experience in managing pediatric patients, including children with special needs.
- Ability to work with pediatric-specific dental appliances, including space maintainers and early orthodontic devices.
- Proficiency in digital imaging, including pediatric radiography and CBCT (if applicable).
