We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Waterproofing Roofer to join our team as a Tutor/Skills Coach. In this role, you will deliver engaging training sessions, assess occupational competency, and support the development of apprentices and students in Waterproofing. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring high attendance, retention, and achievement rates.
Plan and deliver engaging, effective training sessions for groups of apprentices and students.
Develop and implement training programs that lead to successful outcomes.
Conduct Off-the-Job Training Workshops and Study Programme sessions.
Monitor and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) to track apprentice progress.
Ensure training delivery aligns with employer needs and industry standards.
Conduct initial assessments and set challenging yet achievable targets.
Assess student/apprentice portfolios and provide constructive feedback.
Conduct regular reviews of progress and document findings.
Facilitate workplace visits to support apprentices in achieving their qualifications.
Prepare apprentices for End-Point Assessment (EPA) using the NOCN RUBRIC platform.
Ensure student and apprentice attendance and retention targets are met.
Provide ongoing support to help students develop essential English and maths skills.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work towards set performance targets to meet contractual obligations.
Maintain high standards of training delivery and assessment.
Relevant industry experience in Roofing (Waterproofing)
Recognised teaching or training qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Passion for training and development with the ability to motivate learners.
