Job Purpose: As Senior Manager Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of business intelligence processes, operations and strategy, ensuring the organization has a robust, scalable, and insight-driven data ecosystem.
This role will oversee analytics, reporting, and insight generation across all functions, enabling data-informed decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. You will ensure that the data is transformed into actionable intelligence that drives performance across ticketing, tournaments, fan engagement, commercial operations, and strategic initiatives.
You will work closely with Technology (Data Tools & Data Architecture), CDP/CRM, Marketing, Commercial, Digital, and Strategy to embed a data-driven culture across the organization.
BI Strategy & Data Architecture
Define and lead end-to-end business intelligence strategy and roadmap
Oversee the design and implementation of Esports Foundation data architecture, including data warehouse, data models, and semantic layers (alongside IT)
Ensure integration of multiple data sources including tournament data, digital platforms, fan data, commercial data, and third-party providers
Collaborate with IT on data ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), and data quality
Establish data governance, data definitions, and standardization across the organization
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of the BI ecosystem
Analytics & Insight Generation
Lead analytics initiatives to generate actionable insights across fan behavior, tournament performance, commercial outcomes, and digital engagement
Translate complex data into clear, business-relevant insights for senior stakeholders
Support strategic initiatives (e.g., market expansion, partnerships, new products) through data-driven insights
Identify key drivers of growth, engagement, and monetization across Esports Foundation
Reporting & Visualization
Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting frameworks across the organization (e.g., Power BI)
Define and standardize KPIs, metrics, and reporting structures across all business units
Ensure real-time and periodic reporting for tournaments, marketing, partnerships, and executive leadership
Ensure consistency, accuracy, and usability of all reporting outputs
Drive adoption of self-service analytics capabilities across teams
Data-Driven Decision Making
Embed a data-driven culture by enabling teams to leverage insights in their day-to-day decision-making
Partner with IT, Marketing, Commercial, and Digital teams to support performance tracking and optimization
Support campaign measurement and ROI analyses
Enable forecasting, scenario planning, and performance tracking at organizational level
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
Act as the central BI point of contact across all internal functions and external data partners
Manage relationships with data vendors and analytics providers
Lead cross-functional alignment on data priorities, requirements, and deliverables
Support senior leadership with executive-level reporting, insights, and strategic recommendations
Mentor and guide BI, analytics, and data team members

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus)
8+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data strategy, or related roles, with experience leading analytics initiatives and managing cross-functional stakeholders
Proven experience in business intelligence, analytics, and data strategy roles
Strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake), and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple domains
Experience in esports, gaming, sports, or entertainment ecosystems is a strong plus
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Experience with SQL and familiarity with data transformation concepts (ETL/ELT)
Strong understanding of KPI frameworks, reporting structures, and performance measurement
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level presentation
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced environments
Strong problem-solving, prioritization, and strategic thinking skills
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English
